Phase One: Knowledge Development

This initial phase encompasses the theoretical aspect of the PADI Open Water Diver Course. With PADI eLearning® set your own pace and complete your studies at home or any location of your choice.

Phase Two: Confined Water Skills

The confined water segment marks your introduction to underwater breathing. Here, you’ll practice using scuba gear in a pool or a pool-like setting with an instructor until you reach a level of comfort. Throughout these sessions, you’ll systematically learn fundamental skills, such as mask clearing or ascending, in a progressive manner. Phase Three: Open Water Dives

• Depth: expect shallow dives (12m/40ft), the maximum allowed depth is 18m/60ft
